Unica Announces the Appointment of Vivian Vitale to Vice President of Human Resources

Twenty-five year HR veteran’s organizational and talent development experience will support Unica’s continued growth

WALTHAM, Mass. – Unica Corporation (Nasdaq: UNCA), a leading global provider of enterprise marketing management (EMM) solutions, today announced the appointment of Vivian Vitale to vice president of human resources. Vitale brings to Unica more than 25 years of human resources management experience, with an emphasis on talent acquisition and organizational development within leading technology companies.

Vitale formerly served as senior vice president of human resources for RSA Security, now known as RSA, the Security Division of EMC. While at RSA, she played a key role in supporting the growth of the company from 150 to 1,500 employees (in more than 70 worldwide locations); concurrently, the company’s revenue increased from $76 million to more than $400 million at the time of its acquisition by EMC. Previously, Vitale held executive positions at New England Business Systems (NEBS) and Prime Computer/Computervision. She also served as a part-time faculty member at Boston College’s Carroll School of Management.
