Babybel® Manufacturer to Optimize Cross-channel Marketing Campaigns
Waltham, MA - March 4, 2008 - Sogec Marketing, a specialist in Customer Relationship Management, has been selected by Bel Group within the framework of its partnership with Unica Corporation (Nasdaq : UNCA), a global provider of enterprise marketing management (EMM) solutions. Bel, the 3rd biggest French cheese manufacturing group, has contracted these two key players with complementary expertise to execute cross-channel marketing campaigns aimed at optimising its customer relationships. For over a century Bel, the 3rd biggest French cheese manufacturing group with major brands like La vache qui rit®, Babybel®, Kiri®, Leerdammer®, and more recently Boursin®, has consolidated its position in the cheese industry by initiating new food trends, and by advertising its products in a whole new way. Within this environment of growth and development, the Marketing Department was inspired to develop a customer relationship program to increase customer acquisitions and build loyalty. To achieve this, Bel Group called upon the expertise of Sogec, one of Unica’s privileged partners, to implement a two-phase process:
- Led by Sogec, the first phase focused on Data Management using both “online” database hosting for all the Group’s websites and “offline” data hosting. This information was then segmented and “cleaned” so that marketing campaign management tools could be applied to it.
- Unica stepped in during the second phase to deploy the Affinium Campaign suite, an all-round solution for marketing campaign management, which automates the process from the design stage through to analysis. Affinium Campaign is both a cross-channel and multiwave tool that assists marketers in achieving their common objectives: to run more customer-focused campaigns while generating measurable results and increased revenue.
In order to provide the best solution for Bel’s requirements, the web platform named « Tchizbox », the key element of this project, integrates the data hosting realized by Sogec and the Unica’s solutions. Objective: increasing customer acquisition and building customer loyalty (newsletters, consumer magazine, emailing…)
