Kevin Shone, senior vice president & CFO, leads Unica’s global finance and administrative team. Shone has more than 15 years of senior finance, administration and legal experience, with an emphasis on global business management for growth-stage companies. Prior to joining Unica, Shone served as vice president, Global Field Finance and Administration at Cognos, Inc. (an IBM company). During his tenure at Cognos, he played a significant role in supporting the company’s growth, as annual revenues increased from approximately $245 million to more than $1 billion. As the CFO for the Global Field Operations, he was responsible for managing a team of over 270 individuals and led pre and post-merger integration initiatives. Previously, Shone served as the senior corporate counsel and later as vice president of Finance and Administration for the Americas Operations at Cognos. Earlier in his career, Shone was an attorney at the law firm of Reimer & Braunstein, as well as an associate at Deloitte & Touche.

Shone received his Bachelors degree in Accounting from Suffolk University and his Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University Law School.
